| Can anyone tell me what is wrong here? I cannot get the water pipe that goes down the middle of the engine to sit correctly. It hits one of the ridges on the block and will not sit correctly. I am able to thread the bolts in, but it feels like it connects at an angle and I am afraid that it will leak. I have the front thermostat housing already sealed and torqued down, it is sitting correctly so that is not the culprit. I cannot find out what the issue is other than the ridge hitting the pipe. I don't think the pipe was ever bent or anything but I really do not want to have to purchase another one, or have to remove the front piece again, getting to seal that with the heads installed is a pain in the ass. The ridge closest to the housing is hitting the pipe.

The bracket here also does not sit correctly and cannot be bolted down, it will require some force to be positioned.

Any input is appropriated, I am really tired of issues like this coming up, just when I thought I can make some progress fast I had to stop because of this pipe not sitting correctly.
Buy Zama Posters Here I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!"
